Guyver: The Bioboosted Armour (UK version). I realize now the story is a little stale, but I think what attracted me most to this as a kid was the gory fight scenes. Witch are still awesome.
The Ambition of Nobuna Oda. After playin Samurai Warrior and Pokemon Conquest, I got interested and hooked. Though, slightly freaked out, too.
Watched Ghost Hunt
Now starting Witchblade
@Sheras: :dread:
I was rewatching some Negima the other day. I lol'd a bit.
OVA 1 of Tamayura. Basically a nice and slow feel-good show made by the staff behind Aria. Hell, even the voice actors are straight from Aria. :wacko: Loved this first episode, the characters seemed really likable and I'll probably end up watching more. It's the first anime that I decided to watch without subs, just to force myself to listen to the audio more. Had to rewind certain scenes to get what they're saying but overall it was good practice.
Also, it has cats. BIG FLUFFY CATS.
Finally finished Fate Zero. Hell, I thought Fate/Stay Night anime was pretty decent, but this show surpasses and totally rapes it in each possible category. The end was kinda depressing but since it's a prequel, it was to be expected. Have started watching Angel Beats, but can anyone suggest an anime that is comparable to F/Z on the epicness scale that I can watch thereafter?
Yeah, it's really nice, though it's not quite the second coming of Aria.
There's Amanchu for that. :wacko:
Definitely downloading it and giving it a go. Bandwidth is fucked right now so it will have to wait though. :/
Just keep in mind there's both a 12 episode TV series and a four part OVA. And contrary to how things usually work, the OVAs were made first.
The first thing I did was check ANN and I noticed and noted that.
Recently watched Kaiba. Really excellent. The unique animation style took getting used to but I just love it now. Really creative stories each episode.
Aquarion EVOL, and after the first 8 episodes I'm not sure if I want to continue with this. It looks fantastic visually, but the whole thing is kinda stupid, over-the-top and cheesier than a cheese factory.
(I like how no one gives a shit about collateral damage, too. There must've been thousands of innocent casualties due to the first episode's mecha battle destroying a bunch of buildings, but hey, who cares, right? :wacko: At least a show like Evangelion explained it via the whole city going underground during a crisis.)
tl;dr time to watch something else. Densetsu no Yuusha no Densetsu has been on my backlog for a while, anyway.
