Resident Evil 6 :platinum:
Probably not as good as it could have been but nowhere near as bad as some people say it is. With less recycled/repeated chapters and a more inspired setting in general the game would have improved a lot.
It's no RE 4 or 5 but it's still fun.
Bloodrayne Betrayal finished, I liked it quite a bit. Too bad it didn't really start becoming challenging until the last 2-3 chapters of the game, but it was still a fun ride nonetheless. Not the best game ever but it was 10 bucks and delivered what I'd expect from a 10 dollar game.
Resident Evil 5 on PC. Got all trophies, but besides the "block a bowgun arrow with your knife"-bullshit I got them without actively trying.
Really liked the game, Professional difficulty wasn't that bad if not for Sheva's stupid KI always dying or failing to revive you in time -.-
Now I would like to try RE 6 but those reviews aren't that good for the game, aren't they?
The reviews are abysmal for the most part, but some people here liked 6. I personally never finished it - I played through Leon's campaign and most of Chris'. General consensus is that Leon has the best campaign in the game, and if you don't care for it then you're probably not going to like the rest of the game since it doesn't really get better.
I didn't care for what I played, and I'll never go back and play it. If you want a better RE game, try RE Mercenaries. It's on PC, and it's much better.
I see. Well, testing won't hurt I guess. And I suck at mercenaries, I could never get higher than A Ranks in both RE4 and 5 on Mercenaries Mode, so I'll pass :P
BTW, I heard RE:Revelations is a pretty neat game. Did anyone play it? The gameplay footages on Youtube look promising.
Dirt Showdown career finished, just got the joyride stuff to do and upgrade my cars. I will pass on the multiplayer as I have with the other Dirt games on my PSN profile. :)
+1 to that, RE:Revelations is pretty neat. If you need someone to play Raid mode with, I'm here.
Also, I beat DreadOut. The thing was 3 hours long, not *that* good and cost 15 euros... I feel ripped off, honestly.
Ah OK, I will then get Revelations first, general consensus seems to be that it is a much better game than RE 6.
I haven't played Revelations yet, but RE 6 is not a bad game.
Yes well I prefer Revelations to 6. But 6 isn't bad either.
beat Ys: The oath in Felghana PSP on normal difficulty, might try hard or nightmare mode later, possibly on PC/Steam version too
Beyond Good & Evil HD (100%)
Lots of lots of fun. Kind of can't wait to hear more about the sequel. Hopefully it's still in the works. :dread:
I missed an entire generation of games, so I'm a bit late to the party for a lot of these games. :( I think I grabbed this from a share account ages and ages ago. I don't even remember, it's been sitting on my HDD for so long now. :lol
Usually I don't like cliffhanger endings in games. If there's no sequel, it leaves a lot of unanswered questions. Hopefully it comes out soon-ish -- I've been reading that it's in development for PS4/XB1/WiiU, so this might actually be one of the games that finally pushes me over the edge to buying a next-gen console.
Yeah, but I played the game back in the day and this cliffhanger has been haunting me for 11 years! It's hilarious that they went with that ending and then the sequel was lolnevergonnahappen for the longest time.
Bloodrayne: Betrayal
A lot of fun once you know what you're doing. I got absolutely horrible scores for every level. Not even gonna attempt to 100% this one, just gonna grab a couple more miscellaneous trophies and call it a night.
I got a total of 1 achievement for the game. The one for beating it.
Yeah I got abysmal scores as well all the way through, but the game really wasn't that hard, right? Aside from maybe Zeta Gamma who was a total bitch. But yeah, I agree it's a fun game overall, I think some reviewers were too harsh on it.
Sonic CD on the Sonic Gems Collection and Sonic R AND Sonic The Fighters. On CD I got the bad and good ending so yay!
Dirt Showdown (PS3)
All races in the career and all the missions done in the joyride mode. Can't be bothered to collect the secret packages and the multiplayer trophies unfortunately. So no :platinum: here.
Possibly. I think I bought it right before they changed the share guidelines from 5 people to 2. It was so long ago I don't remember. :lol It was either me or Tanthias.
I got a couple of them naturally. Beating the game (obviously), Hop on 50 heads (it was my go-to attack when low on health), and kill 5 people with one bullet. I went back and got the "Defeat the Crab Puncher Without Taking Damage" one shortly after I beat him the first time, 'cause I figured out the system to do it easily and just needed a couple more attempts to actually get it. My points were all abysmal, though, I think I got an F on every level except for like 3, where I managed to get a C by about 50 points. :lol
Otherwise, I really had to go out of my way to get a couple. The environment kill one seemed to be glitched for me, 'cause I swear I got more than 250 kills during my regular playthrough, but I had to farm it for about 30 minutes after I finished. And the coffin-kick one serves no purpose during the game except for looking cool (except for the one or two times there's an enemy that spawns right in front of you when you start the level).
Game definitely isn't hard, but I don't have the energy to S-Rank every level. :lol I felt the button tutorials were a bit lacking -- I didn't fully understand how to perform certain actions until much later in the game, like exploding infected enemies. I had trouble the first time I tried playing because I misread the tutorial and couldn't perform the bloodsucking attack, which was giving me endless frustration, so I rage quit (I found out later that it was because you had to stun enemies first, which I missed the first time I played).
It was a really fun game, though. I haven't deleted it from my HDD yet, I might go back and play it again and attempt to S-Rank a couple of levels, but you have to be damn good to get the Pro Vamp trophy.
Digital Devil Saga. Optional bosses aren't that scary when your team is lvl 87 and have null element, null phys and null ailment. Good game.
Pikmin and got the worst and best ending yesterday. Off to Pikmin 2 and other nice things.
Castlevania Lords of Shadow :platinum:
Gotta admit the trials are what held me back on this one. Only a couple of them were truly annoying but I can appreciate how they tried to make the game last a bit longer with the inclusion of trials.

Sonic The Fighters again but I did the Super Sonic Challenge :D!
For those who dont know: On Arcade as Sonic you must never lose a single round until you reach Metal Sonic and then you must defeat him the first round then activate Hyper Mode on the second round.
x_X let's just say that took awhile.
