My friend was looking for a more powerful graphics card for his Celeron, 512 ram computer.
I seen a second hand Nvidia 5500FX for £17, I recommended it to him over the 9250 I sold him.
Good or bad advice?

150 watts that came with the Dell. >________>; Dell's PSU and motherboard connections are proprietary; I can't just grab any old PSU, stick it in there, and call it a day. I can find things like this searching online: http://www.affordablesurplus.com/del...wer-supply.asp
But that site's design screams unreliable at me, I dunno. I've yet to see anything from a site that I'd trust giving money to.
The only things Dell has on its website as far as power goes is shit for servers and laptop batteries.
Nope, just PCI. :\ Dell apparently didn't think I'd need one. I just got this computer brand new last July, too.
I'm using my 400W PSU atm. Is the X1050 gonna blow it up? lol
Yea, I wouldn't try anything special in it then. Get the 6200, you really need about 250W for a X1300.
And I wouldn't trust anything like that that didn't come from Dell's site.
EDIT - Contact Dell's customer service and see if they have power supplies for sale that will work for your system.
Will RE4 run on my X1050?
Just for fun I went on Dell's site and built myself a custom PC.

Not bad, if I do say so myself. :P Now all I need to do is raise a thousand bucks or so.
Yes.
Nice.
I spent ~£200 on mine. Now all I need is a C2D, 2x1GB RAM sticks and a 8600GT.
I raped the shit out of Spider Guardian. :fdance:
Have you ever felt like that? That some boss or some area at some game seems like impossible, then you totally forget about it, later you grab the game just because and bam, you win. :D
