Yes, the 2012 rerelease that made the 1998 original run on newer PCs.

The script was better... somewhat... in that a few places made more sense and there weren't as many typos, and I think they fixed some bugs.

Just finished Binary Domain, and it's a damn fun experience. Love the I, Robot atmosphere of it all and mowing down 'bots like nobody's business! :D

Because it was. I've played through the game about fifty times on the PS1 back when I was a fan of the game. I knew everything. I got the PC version to play around with mods, played the game a little, found out there were script changes, then my OCD kicked in and I had to play the game through to the end to see what else was changed. So I had to endure a plot I have come to hate and a final boss that even with the proper set up can take a long time if you're unlucky because of his two minute long spell that you cannot skip the animation for. And in the end, very little of the script actually was changed, so it was a waste of time!

I really should have looked into if I could have modded the game with the super short Japanese FMV of Supernova so I didn't have to sit through so much dead air of an animation that's only cool the first ten times you see it.

Beat Dark Souls 2

Haven't platted it yet but I'm not totally sure I want to. Whilst I enjoyed it at first I found the game to get very boring after a certain point. I'm not sure where I could pin it down to just being a chore but it really went downhill for me after a while :( Will post my feelings in more detail when I get the :platinum: but for the moment I consider this game a 6/10

Spoiler warning:

The game felt like a rehash of dark souls 1, and the ending to me was a complete joke. The music was terrible compared to the other two games and I wasn't invested at all especially seeing as they are mostly just rehashes of bosses from other games.

I will have a more complete bitch list when I plat it if I ever do ;P

Ah that's what I feared. I also heard other people say that some of the bosses are just reskinned versions of old DS1 ones, but we'll see if it bothers me at all when I do get around to playing it.

I don't think that's fair at all. :P Dark Souls II was made by a "B-team" so it's only natural it may not live up to the original.

Guess we just have to wait for the rumoured Demon's Souls II to save us? :wacko:

Also gave up on kerotans once I got to the runway section(s). Although I've got a save right at that point to go back to. But I'll still be without the camo for the :platinum:, meh.

I've had to finish it three times to :platinum:, good thing that it saves the count of Kerotans in between new games! I found it pretty easy to Plat and I always wanted to do a non-lethal run of it.

Armored Core as well of course. And there were like 8 or 9 Tenchu games as well right? It's just what they do. :wacko:

Though honestly I can't speak to how similar each Tenchu game is since I've only played a couple of them.

This is the first time I've ever heard somebody mention difficulty in regards to EarthBound. Did you find it too easy or too easy?

I beat Dark Souls II both NG and NG+.

Finshed Final Fantasy VIII two days ago.
Liked it more then VII, but not enough to call it a great game. Magic junction and GF abusing were really fun, but they took any challenge from the game. Story is all around the place; Discs 2 and 3 were quite dissapointing. I was satisfied with the ending though, but I definitely won't play this again.

Dark souls 2 :platinum:

Was very harsh on my last judgement of this game mostly because I was annoyed at having to do 3 playthroughs to get everything when I was told of a workaround that didn't work :P

Going back to my previous statements, I still believe that the bosses were just rehashses and it seems that the developers weren't even hiding it. I still think the music is very weak compared to the two other games. For me the music was something that caught my attention about the previous games and this game just didn't seem to do it for me. I have been hearing that people prefer this music over dark souls 1 and Demons souls. I did like how you have a lot more choice when it comes to beginning the game in terms of paths you can take, and I was surprised at some of the roots you could take. I was annoyed at the fact that I didn't realise all you had to do was pull a lever to get the tower of hiede (I think thats the name) :P

I think that this game is pretty much more of the same, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. If there was something completely new in this game I think I would give it higher praise.

Megaman X3 and for once the Sigma fight was actually not that bad. Why can't it be like this all the time XD.

EDIT: And just about 2 minutes ago I finally beat MGS Peace Walker. The emu didnt let me kill the last boss correctly SO I had no choice but to cheat. I already tried 10 times and then some but it just never lost health at one point. Im still happy but I'm just wishing I had an actual copy because I would've been able to finish the correct way.
