Is it Steal Princes or Rhapsody: A Musical Adventure xsolax?
There was a game, for Dreamcast I think, that I played quite a few years back. I think at the begining of the game the bad guy blows up your village, in which I think you may live in a tree. I think you could play 4 players in this game and im pretty sure it wasn't Gauntlet because im playing that right now and it doesnt seem familiar. Your character may have been some sort of viking or guy with an axe. One level of the game you were running in the streets at night killing the bad guys and that might be the level before you go the "Castle" or such of the main bad guy. Seemed kinda dark. That's the best I can do for a description.
Edit** - I think the camera view you were looking down at the character. Sky camera almost not 3rd person or 1st person.
Solved by myself. Thanks though! It was Silver.
Hmm, if it's not Gauntlet and it's a north american release the only things that seem possible are Nightmare Creatures II, Record of Lodoss war or Draconus: Cult of the Wyrm.
I have no idea though. And I know it's probably not Nightmare Creatures 2 but I heard axe.
Yeah I checked game play for those games earlier and from the mental pictures in my head those don't look right. Maybe it was Gauntlet.... IDK.
It could be the game Silver. I stumbled upon a youtube video of it.
May someone please help me? It was for the GBA or DS. I'm not sure if the DS was released yet though.
Like I said before. I think you played as Mario (Or someone else. I saw EVERYTHING different when I was a kid. I remember the penguin in super mario 64 looked completely different.)
and it was overhead, like pokemon. Mario looked tiny, like he got hit by a enemy. I remember running to a bonfire, only to fall in and run into the water. I think if you ran to the water, Mario fell in and ran to the fire to dry off. But I think he fell in and ran to the water again. I also remember finding a pipe or something, and then I got in it and warped to a place with giant rectangles with cat-like faces on them. I also remember if you tried to go past the fire, Mario noticed it and went to warm up, and then he fell in and ran to the water.
It could've been a mario and luigi game. (Superstar Saga\Partners in time.) Because mario didn't have luigi with him, and he was squished. So he could've been hit with the hammer. Or it could've been a tech demo.
All of these scene or characteristics are part of beam'em type games where one or more than one player fight. As they progress, window scroll forward.like cadilacs n dinosour(mostapha),violent storm etc
1.A boss looked like a scorpion(battle with it was on a rail platform)
2.In a stage, there appear 2 miniboss simultaneously. One move in ground like normal boss. And another move in air.If you fight with ground boss,it is useless as none of them weaken. You need to fight air moving boss.
3.In a stage you fight over wings of a aeroplane.
4.There are 3-4 player. One of them looks like jerk or cangaru.
5.There is a boss which is female-like and attack with rope.
6.Player can charge themselves.
7.In a stage boss look like almost player but color is just different(red probably).I am not talking about captain commando or shadow fighter.
8.Player can release a power that resembles electrical spark.
9.In a stage, you fight with a mechanical tank type things.
Could anyone help me remind name of those games?
4. Streets of Rage 3
@emups3
Those descriptions cover hundreds of games... both on console and arcade. Are your descriptions for both or just arcade?
I know the ones I may mention are obvious, but you never know. So off the top of my head...
3. Beyoneth?(this is quite modern, but since you didnt mention years I suppose I should guess anyway)
5. Batman Returns for snes(catwoman fight)?
6. Super double Dragon for snes?
8. Shinobi or Golden Axe for Sega megadrive?? (is this lighting move a special move or just an attack?)
9. Ehh.. Metal Slug??.... Is this a weapon for your player to use?, or something you fight against?
I know some of those arent fighting or beat em up games, they are just the first ones to come to mind. But can you not think of what any background graphics or stage details from the games looked like... some of those are too vague to guess, as you can see from my guesses lol!
ok guys so ive been doing some digging through some old games, i then found a game which i though i had been looking for, but sadly it was not, so im going to post as much detail as i can remember,
it is an old PC game, if i remember rightly you were one guy who was trapped on a destroyed earth where ?aliens? had invaded, i cannot remember the combat system i think it was real time, there is one part i remember clearly, you are a man and there was an aircraft that had been destroyed and was stuck inbetween some trees, you had to obtain some cloth and soak it in the petrol from the aircraft which inturn you lit up and i think you blew up some vines with a moltiave cocktail.
I think it was for windows XP it could of been for windows 2000 i cannot remember though it would be nice if you could help :) ill try to provide more details as i remember them
EDIT: if it makes any difference i think it was a 3rd person camera view
2ND game:
Im pretty sure this was a turned based game for the PC, you basically had to create your own army of minions out of different animals/creatures, i think there was 2 main races you could be each with their own creatures that you could combine so they had different attributes, such as a cheetah for speed and i elephant for strength etc, again i think it was around on XP, i remember there was different plains that you fought on and i think there was a multiplayer feature aswell
Status: Solved
You're welcome.
About that other game you mentioned, could it be Alien Earth? Here's a video of a playthrough:

I am looking for a game that aired on an episode of Gamepro TV so it would have been early 90s. It was a 2D fighter but you could not select your fighter, you had to be some generic wrestler-looking dude or something I think. The Gamepro TV episode showed codes for fighting the different opponents/stages in the game. I remember one of the fighters was a fat blob-like guy who would roll into a ball to attack you. There was also a dragon or gargoyle sort of guy who would squat low to the ground and used farts as an attack. I remember several fighters were like these skeleton things with different palette swaps. I am pretty sure this game was 16 bit or greater as I remember thinking it looked cool...but then again I thought the Turbo Due Addams family game looked cool. I have no idea how to even begin looking. I have been all over youtube and watched every episode of Gamepro TV I could find. I want to say it was on a system that was a commercial failure but I could be mistaken. And there is a good chance it may be terrible, but I have wanted to play it since I saw it on TV.

I've searched for this.. I used to have the game, yet someone left it in the floor, stepped on, broke to never play again. But it was something LIKE Digimon, it had the characters.. I think. But what you would do, was you were on a biiig looong platform, and you had to jump from point A to point B. But as you progress, there were more holes, mines, bounce left/right/back/forwards.. There was a heart system, like Zelda, land on some spaces, you get hearts, others take them away. It's really the best I can explain. One of the main characters was a yellow thing, with a big head, one big eye, and a tail that he bounced on. No arms or anything.. There were also some other characters, don't remember any details except a big rock-titan resembling dude. If anyone could please help me in figuring out the name for it, it'd be greatly appreciated. Thanks :D
Status: Solved, it was Monster Rancher Hop-A-Bout.
Incorrect guesses: Azure Dreams
I remember a game I rented a LONG time ago, I can't remember whether it was on PS1 or N64 but, the MC was a little kid with blue hair and kind of looked like a clown. And no, it's not BOFIII. Any thoughts? :/
System: PSX
Monsters: As far I can remember there was this big worm monster and something like those half-life zombies.
Characters: You could play as a woman or a man. They were starting at different locations. I remember the woman starting in a elevator and man in some sewer or something.
Quests/Missions etc.: I remember one where you had to escort someone to another room and there were some flying creatures attacking I think that man was a scientist or something.

Incorrect guesses: OverBlood
Here's one more lol. It was a ps2 game called something like 'Gate sumthin'..it had something to do with 'Magic' I think. There were 4 selectable characters for story mode. A wizard guy that looked lke a vampire, A monk girl which fought with swft kicks, a knight with a longsword and a bearded dude with an axe. Throughout the game's levels you would encounter 'mini-bosses' who's hp would be displayed at the bottom of the screen with a red gauge. The story mode was also two-player but you could have had ten players and it still wouldnt have been enough to defeat the last boss >.<. One of the levels was called 'The Labyrinth of Antiquity' I think. It involved a series of gradually appearing and disappearing blue platforms on which you would fight various monsters from the game. At the end of the level leading up to the impossible last Boss-fight you would have to fight against the game's bosses once more before being annihilated by the last dude. A 'vs.' mode was also available in which two players could square off against each other in a head to head duel. Various monsters could also be selected in this mode once unlocked but since I wasn't able to finish this game on the normal difficulty even once I had nothing unlocked except for the 4 main characters. -_-... I'd like to try an complete it once more....now that I'm older and smarter >.<.....I'll be sure to edit this with anything else I can remember. Thanx and hope we find out the title.
I checked both of them but the one I'm thinking of is much less complex and somewhat more limited. Character creation was also disabled and weapon changing too. One of the mini bosses was fought in a plaza with a large circular fountain in the centre and the monster resembled a minotaur. Ehmmm, each chapter's beginning and ending was narrated by the typical 'deep-voice' guy and on the easy difficulty on a certain number of levels could be played. At the beginning of a new chapter you could select your 'path' on some sort of 'world map' what else?....
I appreciate all the help with this :D...
That last game mentioned sounded more like D&D Heroes aside from the mention of "Gate" in the name. Baldurs Gate: Dark Alliance has three playable characters and Dark Alliance 2 has 5. the first one has no rogue and the second one has no knight. D&D Heroes has pretty much everything mentioned. Look up a vid or something. May be what you're looking for and if not, you'll more than likely enjoy it.
[edit] It may be worth looking into champions of norrath or champions return to arms as well although there are no playable dwarves. I've be pondering this a bit. baldurs gate has no such minotaur in any plaza. there IS a fountain but all that's at the center is a raised platform where a statue would be that you can stand on. there is a problem with D&D Heroes. while it most closely fits your description, I think it may have been xbox only (correct me if I'm wrong) because I owned it for xbox and haven't seen a ps2 version. based on the character lineup, there is a possibility it could be a game called Demon Stone. It has a rogue, wizard, knight (and another char i can't remember lol) but you don't play as one of them. you start as the knight and when you meet the others through story mode you can switch between them anytime during play with the dpad.
[edit] forget anything we're suggested about this so far and go check out Gauntlet: Dark Legacy. The game was killer, at time brutally hard, the bosses were a challenge and there were more unlockable characters than I've seen in any other game. You could choose from a warrior, wizard, valkyrie, and a couople of others from the start and after you unlocked them you could play as a minotaur, medusa... there was even a way of playing as a japanese school girl. It was the forefather to many games like champions and dark alliance but instead of finding tons of weapons and armor you had a single weapon that you could throw infinitely (some characters weapons grew bigger every 10 levels).
Whatever the case, I wish you luck. You sound like my kind of gamer with a memory much like mine as well lol I jumped to this thread to post a question of my own (that's been nagging at me for the past 20 years). The only things I can remember are that it was for NES you start off on a cliffside and work your way towards the left and eventually up the mountain while killing giant frogs and annoying birds that swoop down at you. I was suggested to check out Ironsword by a bunch of people but it wasn't close to it. This game had a character with a sword with long hair and no suit of armor (the main character didn't move like he had a worm in his rear end either). I'm temped to go to the NES section and try each rom until I find it. I've tried it on psp with no luck. So basically, I hope you have better luck than me. It's annoying to lose touch with games that rocked so much.
Argh still nothing ;( think I might give up on it for a little while(again...) According to my brother it was some sort of 'unlicensed' game with a real crappy producer r sumthin? We bought it in TK-Max apparently(A shop here In Ireland)
Well, thanks again for the help(Nem and Fen), I greatly appreciate it. LUV U ALL :3
and no...I'm not Irish lol
Well,i'm gonna make a wild guess here...It could be Necrodome http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QyFkLkVEGV0
Or maybe Redline http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WsMjO...eature=related
Okay, this one's really old, but I really hope somebody recognizes it. I played this back in the early 90's on the Apple II at school. The game was about an old house, each room had a riddle to solve, and when you solved enough riddles, it let you go to the next floor. You start out in the basement, and the ending is in the attic, where you choose between 3 chests. One chest had diamonds or something, but I always chose the wrong one, sending me back to the basement.
It had a combination of color graphics and a simple text parser. The title was something like "Manor of Mystery" or "Riddle Castle", something like that. It definitely was not Mystery House, this was similar, but with color graphics and was a riddle-based treasure hunt, not a murder mystery.
Please help, I'm dying to relive the memories!
