To sum up previous entries
MSI is awesome. Cursive has 1 great album ugly organ, the rest is bleh
I recommend...
Puscifer - Maynard's (tool, a perfect circle) new side project. Beat machines, ambient noises, 2012 conspiracies....what more do u expect?
Why? - pop/hip hop from a sarcastic white boy from oakland. different, in a glorious way - try the song The Vowels Pt 2 off the album Alopecia
the album The Eraser by Thom Yorke of Radiohead, as well as the new king of limbs REMIXES-amazing
Pretty Lights! ambient dubstep mixing - download there music for free from them! www.prettylightsmusic.com
Deep Puddle Dynamics - Slug, Sole, Eyedea, and Dose1 - and all those guys too if u dont know them. also Lyrics Born and Sage Francis - white hip hop!
Jedi Mind Tricks - you better know who they are
Nick 13 for those Tiger Army fans
Netsky for classic techno fans
Califone for the ambient rock fans
Neutral Milk Hotel - acoustic rock sounding band
Circa Survive - AWESOME indie alt/rock - best album is called blue sky noise
get spotiffy to check any of those out
ALSO FOR NEW UNDERGROUND NORTHERN CALIFORNIA MUSIC
I run a website for a Northern Cali band, plays venues in Sacramento area mostly
2 guitar/singers/keyboard, 1 drummer, 1 dj, 1 bass, 1 lead guitar
sounds liiiiike...incubus, sublime, and the beatles rolled up into a joint and smoked to the dome. repeat as desired.

first album is out! listen to a couple tracks and criticize my just-on-par web design skills!
Trivium/US/"Metalcore"
One of my favorite metal bands, personally I recommend their album The Crusade.
Imogen Heap aka Frou Frou/UK/Electronica/Pop
Easily my favorite female artist, check out Speak For Yourself and Details.
Bah, I thought Happy Hollow was a pretty decent album. Though my favorite would have to be Burst & Bloom.
I have a progressive metal band to recommend. There is a Brazilian band (singing in English) that I would tell you to listen to called Bad Salad. They just released their first album, and it is damned good, though not exactly inspired as I'd hope compared to much Kamelot or Dream Theater.
Could anyone recommend me some great songs from "Muse"? How about latest one - "Survival"?:wav:
I would recommend the band Black Sabbath
They are English hard rock/metal from the '70s
they have kind of a spooky/eerie sound to some of their songs and they sing about the apocalyptic outcomes of war, occult horror, etc.
here's their original song:

utter awesomeness
one Direction
Any band in which Chester Bennington is associated is great in my opinion; Linkin Park, Dead by Sunrise,Grey Daze etc. they are all good.
Also A.S.H. they covered the songs from GGXX ost & created a live album which is worth checking out.
Crush 40
they need no introduction
Carpathian Forest. That is if you like black metal.
Cherry Boom. :awesome:
Seriously. Most people get amazed when they listen to their songs first, and only research about the band later. ^_^
(note: band recommendation likely done for the surprising effects and awes... :fogwacko:)
