Recently beat Metro: Last Light. Although it was a bit more linear than I expected, I enjoyed it greatly.

Wolf among us episode 1 :D
Think I may replay it though.
SMT IV.
Mortal Kombat on PS3 - Beaten the Story mode and the Challenge Tower. Pretty fun. Tempted to go for the majority of trophies now except for the one where you have to play for 24 hours per character :S
Just finished Zelda: A Link Between Worlds. Easily the best Zelda game I've played in a long time.
Don't click the spoiler if you don't want to know what happens after the final boss.
Spoiler warning:
I've been hearing about this PC game called Gone Home for a while now, and everyone just seems to love it - so I figured it was time to check it out.
All in all it's not bad - It took me barely two hours to finish, and I did thoroughly explore and figure everything out (what the Uncle did, where Mom and Pops are at, etc). I thought it was a unique way to tell a story, but really all you do is read various letters and piece together a mystery - there should have been puzzles of some sort (other than 3 locker combinations).
A few things I really liked were the attention to details on the setting of the story - it takes place in 1995, and the house is littered with old TV Guides (full of show listings from that time), VHS Tapes, Laserdisc players, SNES games, etc. That aspect was really cool.
Oh, and my favorite - the two Magic Eye posters in the sister's bedroom. To my shock they ACTUALLY work.... that took me back
Anyone else played this game?
Recently beat Ys the ark of Napishtim on normal. I'm now running through the game again on hard. Interestingly enough enemies can score critical hits on me in hard mode.
Valdis Story on God Slayer with a Str/Luk Wyatt. Going through again with a Str Reina.
I don't really think Majora's Mask can technically be considered "underrated". It was pretty much universally lauded, at least on a critical level, so I think it received the exact amount of praise it deserves.
However, from a consumer standpoint, it and Zelda II were the sort of black sheep games of the series, although I imagine more people hated the latter. People were just blindsided by how obscure and different it was when compared to the masterpiece that preceded it. But if you take all those factors out of the picture and rate the game on just it's own merits alone, it's an incredibly deep and beautiful game, which is pretty much the general consensus.
Sorry, I just felt like arguing semantics there for a second.
Back to the original topic:
I've got awful video game ADD. I'm usually always playing about 5 different games across multiple consoles and/or handhelds that I end up not finishing after about halfway through. Currently, I'm playing Skyward Sword, Metroid: Fusion, Pokemon X and Final Fantasy VI Advanced.
But I'd have to say GTA V on PS3 was probably the last game I beat/played all the way trough.
Finished Shining in the Darkness.
Very nice dungeon crawler. Story is quite generic, but quirky cartoony art style makes up for it.
Most enemies are simple recolors though, sometimes with hilarious Engrish names.
There was only one major flaw for me: encounter rate. It's outrageous. Random battles happen almost every step, even when you're simply turn around. Low escape chance makes this issue only worse.
Nice, so I guess you are ready for Shining the holy ark eh?
Yep. Ark will be next, if my PC will be able to run it smooth enough.
GRID 2 :platinum:
:] :]
Thanks Cookie! :)
Crash Bandicoot for like the 5th time but this time on the WiiSX. Im shocked of how well this thing runs! Thumbs up!
Anytime, I literally did nothing
Copycat got it too :booger:
It takes a while to get used to it but good game nonetheless. Some more tracks would have made it more fun tho, some events got really repetitive at the end... And the online can be a pain when people insists in playing as if this were Destruction Derby
I didn't enjoy it much at all and took great pleasure in deleting it from my hard drive. :-/
I think you probably enjoyed it so much because you didn't buy it on release, and you got it as part of PS+ I bought it on release and traded it in very quickly.
Space Ace for Snes and about freaking time! Now i can go waste my life somewhere else.
The first Disgaea on the PS2 and finished most of the post game over the weekend.
Finally finished Link Between Worlds. The final boss was the first thing to actually make me game over... twice. Both times because I lacked the red tunic. Once I grabbed that, I finished him off with ease, not even needing to touch my potions and fairies.
But even with the red tunic, he was a much better and tougher final boss than what we got in Link to the Past. Which is the only thing I can say the game did better than LttP.
Finished FFVII:Crisis Core.
Well, I did really like this game as a whole. Story mode is a cakewalk, but side missions were pretty challenging - blew a ton of time on them, because rewards were great. Fire died out on 70% completion though.
DMW system was confusing at first, but I got used to it after some time.
Sadly, but I think that Crisis Core will be a one-time trip for me. Yes, I've felt that something bad would happen, yes, I've watched Advent Chidren, yes, I was ready to accept the end, but... It was painful anyway. I don't want to come back anymore. *sigh*
At least, now I know that there was a good reason for me being tied to that blonde excuse for a SOLDIER for the majority of FFVII...
One more game left. Just one more game, and I will finally be able to leave Gaia.
Dirge of Cerberus, here I come...
Finished Tales of Xillia (PS3)
Good game - 8/10
I won't be replaying it for any more trophies or any new game + stuff. I logged a lot of hours and I'm finished
Beat Half-Life, was gun to play although it definintely shows it's age, HL2 is a huge improvement over it, although the final boss was impressive looking.
Just beat Limbo (Vita)
Not my kind of game I didn't think, but I really enjoyed it. I'm not going to do that stupid challenge thing for doing all the easter eggs or finish it with 5 or less deaths. No thanks! :D
Only game I recently beat is Tales of Xillia, on my second playthrough now. I'm getting pretty close to beating Glory of Heracles and Final Fantasy III (psp) Also playing lots of different games, I'll hop between games.
Play with the green tunic like I did and you'll find the original more interesting XD. And then try the palace of the four sword in the GBA release with the same conditions. NOW THAT is somethin.
Yes recently I fully completed Link to the Past as before I couldnt reach the Palace of the Four Sword without playing Four Swords. HOWEVER thanks to glitches Im home free :>.
Welp Episode 2 of The Wolf Among Us is done. Dunno if it was my choices but it was very short and not very exciting compared to the first episode.
Metro Last Light (PS3)
Still really like this game, and I'm happy to be playing some PS+ games at last. I've got all the DLC to play too.
ff7-34 hr's
kingdom hearts recoded-17 hr's
silent hill-10 hr's
You can use chapter select to get a lot of the lesser trophies. There are only some that require a complete play through.
For the Gunslinger one you can use chapter select, just make sure you wait until the save icon appears and disappears after a kill with whatever weapon for it to register.
Muramasa Rebirth (Vita) with a whopping 14% of the trophies, woohoo!
Really fun game though, enjoyed it a lot. :]
Metro Last Light :platinum: and a little bit more :]
Thanks to looking at my memory cards I managed to discover an unfinished Spyro 3. I found my burned copy and went to get 117%! :D
Finally got around to finishing Children of Mana for the DS. The whole game is basically fight monsters, break stuff on a dungeon floor to find a portal and an egg shaped thing that you need to activate said portal. Go to the next floor, repeat, sometimes fight a boss. Do this for EVERY. FRIGGIN'. DUNGEON.
The final boss was a joke; one form, had barely any attacks and went down in 4 minutes.
Now to finish the other Mana game for the DS; Heroes of Mana. Because why not have an RTS on a handheld...
