It isn't insane to get $250aud or more for a used S now, if it's boxed it'll be more.
Covid has made people crazy and desperate.
Funny thing is the replacement 4k drives can be had for around $40 new, some people must've stockpiled them here.

God fucking dammit I'm pissed. I just bought my third broken DS Lite from a thrift store (they've all cost basically nothing). The 2 previous ones had broken screens, but this newest one had 2 working screens, and was one of the pretty metallic red ones, but the DS cart slot didn't work. This should be the easiest fix, it's just swapping a perfectly functional mainboard from either of my other DS's. But nooooooo! God fucking dammit, doing this simplest fix required touching that top screen ribbon cable. Now this newest DS, is fucked. I couldn't have handled the top screen any better, but it's kaput. Why the fuck are DS Lite's such trash systems :|
Hmmm, when Walmart starts doing layaway again I maaaaaaay decide to put that TMNT Arcade 1UP on Layaway.... :thot:
Especially since hours are going to be pretty good for me at work... I'm part time but I'm getting basically full time hours which kinda blows me away. Hopefully I get enough to get a PS5 too when it launches...
But first I need to get myself a new camera.
I see so many of them I don't bother fixing faulty units now.
Pull the stylus and slot 2 cover for spares if they're there, good working consoles are sometimes missing one or both of those.
Throw all the faulty units in a box and get rid of them via craigslist or whatever.
Aww dammit, redump.org isn't working :(
Wanted to check disc variants and languages for an xbox title.
Yeah that all sounds like the right opinion. I don't even need a DS Lite, I just wouldn't mind having one and I'm not opposed to tearing hardware apart. But DS's are the biggest pieces of shit I've ever taken apart. I'm only out $11 (and time) across the 3 broken DS's I've touched, so I'm just counting this as an educational investment.
Some people still repair them (the Chinese even sell refurbished but they do that with PSP and a bunch of other handhelds) but I don't bother now.
At work I see them all the time, I have enough fully working units myself now and I even gave some to my sister's kids a couple of years ago.
Oh goody.
Found Metro Exodus Aurora Edition and Bully SE US release for XB1, new but reasonable prices locally.
I think Bully won't have the manual but pretty sure I have one in my spares box (covers/manuals/maps/etc).
Welp, been mucking around with Fallout 76 the last few days and have to admit the game is much better now after all these updates since I got it over a year ago :bounce:
Are you still seeing levelling issues?
Not really no. All enemies I've encountered are my own level. I don't really stick around other players though.
I never stick around other players either but always had issues with higher lvl players being somewhere nearby.
So except for the very start of the game where enemy levels are locked low, I was always dealing with bullet sponges.
It was like 12c, overcast with a little rain 2 days ago.
Now it's sunny and humid in the high 20's.
It isn't even summer ffs and I don't live anywhere near the tropics :drag:
