Just wrapped up A Link Between Worlds. It was great, definitely a worth successor to LttP.
Just finished Super Robot Wars Alpha 2. Ibis Route.
Now....Arado, Kusuha, or Sanger's route next?
WRC 4 (Vita) :platinum:
At last. I've been working on this for a month as of tomorrow. :fist:
Load times made an otherwise, pretty decent game, practically unbearable.
EDIT: In fact, I'd only been playing it for 13 days. It took that long, I thought it were a month!
Legend Of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds
Game...was...AWESOME.
One of the best ever.
Just finished Diablo III on Hell difficulty.
Time for Inferno mode (hardest difficulty). :nerd:
Portable Ops.
Garbage.
Lego Lord of The Rings :platinum:
Just finished Killzone Shadow Fall on normal difficulty. The next generation sure doesn't do anything new other than shiny graphics, but at least it does those good.
I enjoyed the game, but it hasn't blown my mind. "Just another shooter."
Ys 5, which didn't even take nine hours to finish and was one of the easiest games I've ever come across.
Oh well, guess that's why there's Expert!
I typically like the short length of Ys games, because it allows for more replays without commitment. The reason I've only played 7 twice is because the damn beast is over 30 hours long.
As for Expert: don't be deceived by the name. It's by no means a bad game, as many think Ys 5 vanilla is, but I think only one boss gave me a real challenge (the bull). . . and I'm the guy who bitches that Felghana is too had on normal.
No More Heroes again. This time with the real ending :D! Also decided to playthrough Super Mario RPG again just for fun and beat it yesterday.
So yeah A Link Between Worlds is the best Zelda in years. Skyword Sword who?
Think I'll do a master run later down the road!
Rayman Origins (Vita) :platinum:
Absolutely love this game. I should get around to trying Legends...
Baldur's Gate Enhanced (PC)
So good, reached Exp Cap with my char. Now to buy BG2 EE
Tales From Space: Mutant Blobs Attack (Vita) 100%
Surprisingly fun game, but was getting pretty repetitive towards the end.
Just finished the Visual novel Eroge! - Momoka's route, now for the other 3 routes
A Link Between Worlds. Now for hero mode.
WRC Powerslide 100% (PS3)
:]
Virtua Fighter 2 100% (PS3)
PS4 controller worked a treat for the final gold trophy! Didn't think it would work with this game to be fair! :D
Fighting Vipers 100% (PS3)
On a bit of a roll here!
Machinarium (Vita)
A helluva lot easier once I got passed the one part that seemed to have stumped me. >.>
Bioshock Infinite beaten, very cool game, I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Burnout Paradise :platinum:
So happy :D
Finally got around to finishing Ys V. Now that I fully understand the story, I can honestly say it's probably one of the better plots in the series.
The difficulty was, of course, absolutely ludicrous--in the opposite manner I usually find difficulties ludicrous--but I compensated by anti-grinding (dulling?) and trying not to gain too many levels. Of course, just having healing potions makes it impossible to lose...
And I really don't see all the complaints people level against the sound track. It may not be the J-rock we're used to from Falcom Sound Team JDK, but it sounded like a mix of Final Fantasy and Zelda, which is hardly a bad thing. There were some really good RPG tunes in there.
Metroid Zero Mission.
55% Complete, little under 3:30 in time.
Altered Beast (PS3) 100%
Just Gunstar Heroes left now, will edit my post when finished!
EDIT: Gunstar Heroes (PS3) 100%
:]
Finally finished Yakuza 3. My least favorite, by far. The story got much better after the midway point, but it still kept throwing needless distractions at me just for boring padding. It's like the damn game knew I was skipping the extras this time around, and so forced it into the narrative.
And that WTF fakeout epilogue was flat out inconsistent with the narrative. It's like they realized they couldn't top the first two games, so they settled for shock value.
Probably the end of my annual Yakuzaing. If I do play one next year it'll be Kenzan, since that's more my flavor anyway.
chrono trigger for the ds with second ending. would've been mad that i beat the game without chrono but thankfully there's multiple endings lol
(´・ω・`)
Deus Ex, chose the "new Dark Ages" ending because I didn't feel like taking over but didn't want to share with the illuminati so I opted to have everybody revert to the dark ages.
Practically beat Rainbow moon, I just have 100 hours of gameplay to get the platinum. Found out you can't just leave it or it auto pauses, so I went onto the menu and wrapped an elastic band around the shoulder button. Just need to leave it like that for 30 hours :P
Playstation All Stars Battle Royale (Vita) :platinum:
Fuck the online has gotten brutal in this game. I should have played through all of the arcade modes on All-Star instead of Legend to prepare myself for the ass-kicking I was going to take while trying to finish the online trophies. Jesus.
This week, I've re-beaten (for the zillionth time)
Sonic the Hedgehog (all emeralds)
Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (as Sonic alone, with all emeralds)
Both for the Genesis. Those games have become so easy for me. The only part I struggle with is getting the last few emeralds in the special stages (especially Sonic 2, which I can't seem to do with Tails following me, he always hits the bombs and loses rings!)
Super Mario Galaxy 2 and this time for real! And if it wasn't for watching a video, I would have never known there was a comet on Grandmaster Galaxy.
Link between worlds
Link awakening dx
It's not horrible, it just doesn't have the tension and adrenaline rush that Smash Bros. has, since in Smash you can literally die at any time if you get hit too often. In PASBR, you have to get hit by someone's Super move, which means you can take a beating but still be in the fight. It kind of makes it bland.
Also, they fucked the Arcade Mode. They don't utilize all the stages, too repetitive, and the final boss is way too easy. Again, great idea, just lackluster execution. I kind of enjoyed it, but it's still a rather forgettable game.
Took a while so I wouldn't burn myself out, but I finally finished up Ys: Memories of Celceta.
Got 51% of the trophies on the first run, if that matters.
