V for Vendetta was entertaining. I don't think I could stand to see it again, but I've seen it about ten times now... that's just a bit too much for me. :wacko:
If you haven't yet, might also want to check out Lucky Number Slevin. I think you would enjoy that one, especially if you enjoy the dialogue/banter from Guy Ritchie movies (but with a lot less cursing and overall Britishness).

I just thought of something. Did anyone ever actually BUY albums on Minidisc? Everyone I knew who had one of the players would just buy blank disks and copy their CD collections. :wacko:

Yup all my uncle did was copy his CDs onto it. :wacko:

I don't know what Sony were thinking. :wacko: Pretty sure the Minidiscs were more expensive than CDs too. It's a wonder the format lasted as long as it did.

I'm pretty sure they were thinking "Hey, if we can own the recording format we can make everyone else pay us to release music". Kinda like with UMDs, only more pointless.

They probably should have thought of that before aggressively advertising the idea that you could buy music on cheaper, existing formats and copy them onto the thing, then. :wacko:

Then digital distribution came along and shat on everything.
