Yup, flea markets, street markets in Downtown...thanks to them I have a hard time looking for used original games in the city. :P
Last time I bought a backup was when I didn't had high speed internet and I wanted to play Silent Hill...like...two years ago. :P

There's no animation to the Qoob boot screen, it just comes on, and shows system info. When you put a backup in, it shows you it's reading the disc ID, and then says "running game..."

I can't say I have ever seen a backup for sale. I've seen some guys at flea markets selling some games I thought MIGHT be backups, but if they were, they were done real well.
