Also I have Borderlands 2 on PC. Not too bad but I haven't gotten terribly far nor will I for the foreseeable future.

I don't mind respawning but it's a bit out of hand in those games imo...probably because it's aimed more at a co-op experience.
Yeah it's a co-op game but you can play solo offline.

It's a first person action rpg I guess it's similar to Fallout in many ways. It has a cell shaded looking graphic style that some don't like though.

looked into borderlands doesn't seem too bad gamefaqs has it listed as a arcade fps though.

The thing is many really old 2D games still look fine. They are just, 2D of course. Obviously Famicom can't compete with the 2D stuff the Saturn is capable of but it doesn't hurt to look at when I plug it into a CRT. Just don't try to bloat it out to a 55'' 1080p display.

Whereas 3D graphics just keep getting immediately dated. Plus the PS3 has shit architecture and really just nothing on it looks appealing even 7+ years ago...
