This might be a stupid question, but is SNK still around? Or did they go away a long while ago? I wouldn't mind seeing them do something with the MegaMan series.

I believe they went under or was bought out

SNK Playmore is still operating.

Originally yes, it was. It was founded by the original founder of SNK and once SNK collapsed, Playmore bought up the IPs and later on they were awarded the rights to the SNK brand name. And now they're SNK Playmore.

i thought so, most companies with two part names WERE two companies
