GB4IOS
Hi all.
I'm very new to this so my apologies if I mess up.
I recently installed gb4ios on my ipad.
Now I downloaded 2 games, advance wars (E)(Arrogance) and Golden Sun (U)(Mode7) ROM onto my laptop.
I then copied the files directly into gb4ios using iTunes.
Both games work but there is no sound.
Am I being stupid and that is normal or am I missing something?
Please help a lesser human being. =[=[

Moved to mobile devices
Me personally I don't have an iPad but it is not unusual to have in development emulators that lack sound, there may be a more fully usuable emulator for the iPad though, again I don't have one so have little interest in this
The only hints I can give is read everything that comes with the emulator and look at any settings or look for the official site for more info
It may also be that you have to pay to get sound I know mac users like to charge for everything, it's been like that for years they pay for stuff that is free on other platforms with only shareware versions with limitations like sound missing or even save support missing until you pay for it

well this was app was pushed by emuparadise so I would like to think its one of the best. No harm in having a look around tho.
So is it normal for ROMs to come with no sound in general, or is it the actual emulator that is lacking in sound and the ROM has the sounded encoded already?

The later, an emulator issue
As far as homebrew goes apple tend to be behind on development compared with other systems
