ePSXe for Android won't run any of my .bin files

I've got it installed on an nVidia Shield, w/ Jellybean.
I've properly converted the .ecm files to .bin.
I have the proper BIOS for the emulator and the opengl plugin.
The PSone main menu boots up properly when I load the BIOS, but all of my games just hang. They run fine on FPSE, but not with ePSXe. Settings with ePSXe are all default except for BIOS. Anyone else having problems using a Shield?

Do you have cue sheets for the games

Not so sure it will help anyway but it is always best to load games via a cue sheet to avoid issues from not playing all the tracks also if the image came with ape files/ multi bin when converted you will need to then convert that to a single bin+cue file instead of multi bin+cue

also note that some games may have protection that prevent games from running in ePSXe without extra help (It's mostly EU games sometimes listed as (E) or PAL that have copy protection in them, it's not exclusive though to the PAL regions some Jap (J) games and USA (U) games also have copy protection, just not as many as the Europe (E) games do)

I personally have no interest in ePSXe on an Android though, so can't give advice on that particular version, but I can offer general help with emulation the PSX

want to list a few games including region though I can have a look later today maybe and see if any require any sort of special fix or structure to get them working.
