Help loading Wii games from SD/USB

I am looking for a tutorial on how to play wii games from a sd card or flash drive. The disk drive on my wii is broken and I have already have the homebrew channel installed. I did a search but I could not find a decent tutorial. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Every since CoolROM forums has been down I have been without an internet "home" maybe this forum could be my new place of residence.
Also I took a quick look at the Wii ISO section and a lot of the ISO's are just a few kilobytes, wants up with that. Should they be a few GBs?

Not sure if this applies to SD cards, but for USB flash drives it's pretty easy. First thing you need is a program like Wii Backup Manager (found here) to properly load your games onto your USB drive. Install the program, then with the USB drive plugged in, click the Drive 1 tab and select the USB drives letter from the dropdown list near the tab. Then, click the Files tab, then just below hat click Add > Files and select the .iso/.wbfs etc files. Finally, click Transfer > Drive 1 and it should stick the games where they need to be.

Now with that out of the way, you need a loader on your Wii to actually load the games. My personal favorite loader is Wiiflow, and an installation guide for that can be found here; https://sites.google.com/site/wiiflo...alling-wiiflow

As it states, once you've got it installed and running it'll probably say something along the lines of "no games found, select partition"; this is where you select your USB stick, and at that point it "should" pop up with your games. If you run into any particular issues feel free to post here for help :)

That is super unusual; Wii games generally are in the gigabytes range. If you happen to have any of those tiny file links I can try and figure out what they're supposed to be.

Ah, he probably glanced at my uploads and saw the attached DLCs and stuff.

d2x-v10 is requires for USB flash drives to operate better, linked in the Wiiflow Guide

Can't say I use Wiiflow myself though but I use a USB HDD as the compat is much greater and can fit more on the drive as it is 2TB

SD card loading is not worth messing with though the SD port is too slow and alot of games will lag including Wiiware games that are officially supported from SD

Games range from all sorts of sizes though some are very very small a few MB (200ish and up over, normally atleast 500MB though) others can be up to 7 or 8 GB, the downloads are always smaller though due to compression

WiiWare and VC games may be smaller again

Nothing is as small as a few kb though

When I took a closer look I saw that I needed a downloader for Ragnar's files. That makes sense.
