can't extract archive
I goth these roms from here:
http://www.emuparadise.me/Nintendo_D...eNDS%29/164832
http://www.emuparadise.me/Nintendo_D...eNDS%29/164833
When I try to extract the archives I get the error:
"not enough storage is available to complete this operation"
I downloaded the files multiple times but I get the same error.
I'm using 7-zip under XP SP3 I have over 30 Gb free on both the system partition and the partition I want to extract in. I have 2 Gb RAM and a 1,6 GHz dual core processor.
Can you help me out? Reading the comments on the Black2 I see some other person is having trouble extracting. I know the files are good since I asked someone with a better rig to test them but what could be my problem?
Thanks for reading this!

Try this:
If you use an old version upgrade 7-zip to v9.20.
Right click on the achive and select "7-zip/extract here"
You can also:
Install and use winrar for file extract.
Check the FAT of your hardrives: look if the file systems are NTFS. (FAT32 can't handle files with size of 4gb+ and real long file names).

I have the newest 7-zip version also I installed winrar but still didn't work. The drives are NTFS. I gave up eventually and got the files from somewhere else.

Tested Black 2 and it extracts just fine
I strongly recommend you use a download manager like www.freedownloadmanager.org to ensure your downloads complete without error
90% of problems with downloads is badly downloaded files rather than any actual bad files

I used downthemall on firefox if that qualifies as a manager. But I'm sure is not the file as I download it multiple times. And all other files I got from here worked. Even huge ones such as PSP isos. It probably uses some high end compression method that my crappy pc just can't handle.

Nope it doesn't just try what I recommended
Your right it's not the file but it's you constantly failing to download it correctly
Nope it's not the compression method if you used the latest 7-zip, the OS or the machine should have no effect there
Unless there is something you have not told us I can't be certain of any other possibilities at the moment
EDIT:-
If it's not a download issue but rather some issue with 7-zip then open the 7-Zip File Manager go in to options and change Folders/Working Folder to something different to what it is set to, perhaps the system temp folder is getting full, in the next tab you can also try using large memory pages

Idk what else I could say, the OS is pretty freshly installed I think less then two months and I don't have any background programs. What I also don't have is an anitvirus though. But if viruses caused this why do other archives work?
Good suggestion in the edit, I'll try that the next time I have this problem but for now I already found a good copy of pokemon black 2. Thanks for the help!

I'm thinking of future downloads :)
Get yourself avast free version to start with you can figure out the best one at a later date to get
I like avast it doesn't seem to get in the way of the machines performance, though like most antivirus software it can pick up some hacking progs or file altering progs as virus software, I'm thinking of software that only alters files you tell it to. (I don't use cracks but they would also be detected as virus software, it's more ripping tools I find this happens with that I use alot)
