Like I said in the title my usa mm3 chip from eurasia isn't working like it should my consoles both 7001 ntsc u/c and 101 ntsc u/c boot real discs into the audio disc options not game mode whats going on did I nead to hex edit first or are the wires in the wrong places?Attachment 38233Attachment 38234 are the chips from eurasia preprogramed?burnt copies give give blue screen of copyright. my chip is a 12c508a

my dad is doing the soldering sorry about misspelling 5:00am when typing he says that there is nothing there on the board to solder to for number 5 and i'm using the guide I got from eurasia.nu shop mm3 usa modchip 12c508a on my Scph 7001 ntsc u/c playstation when the chip is wired retail discs boot up in the cd mode cd-r boots please insert format disc.
without it discs boot like normal ps symbol.Attachment 38244 these are all the places I have the wires currently again my dad says he can't solder the fifth wire to that spot being pointed to in diagram so it's soldered to the same chip as 6 and im not sure if my chip is a stealth v4 or normal mm3
If that is the case, then how did he do no. 6? It looks like both 5 and 6 are on the pins of that small IC. Are there better pictures from Euarsia?
no these are the ones they have for download.Attachment 38245Attachment 38246he did 6 like they both show bottom left of the chip first pin.

If you bought it at eurasia, It comes pre-programmed (Mine also come pre-programmed).
If you take a look at this install (not mine), The green wire is point 5. The solder point is small but it soldered to the point listed in the gamefreax diagram. Pin 5 must be connected.

So it has to be in that specific exact spot no exceptions?:doink: my dad says that there is nothing there to solder to Attachment 38250 so he soldered to second to right pin on chip as 6 only on the top.
if that is what's making it boot cd mode and not right format then maybe I'l just stick with getting a pre modded 9001 from theisozone it comes with the vcd thing as well.
Sidenote does anyone know where I can get a new gear for my skipdr deluxe the main gear is chewed up and my Alundra and god of war 2 really need to be sanded again.
