so i started playing orcs & elves for the ds on the no$gba emulator and for some reason, when i use save state, and then load the save state, it just goes back to the intro screen, like i had just reset the game instead.

I don't think save states are supported in No$gba for NDS games. Pretty sure they only work for GBA games last I checked.Quote:

I could be wrong in all this though since it's been a couple years since I messed with NDS emulation in general.
In general it is always recommended you use in-game save instead of or as well as save states, not only to avoid save state errors (that can happen at any time with any emulator) but also to avoid any sort of emulator setting issues that save states would just bring back even after changing settings.
To help with save state errors if this is not just a pure issue in general is to save state in menu's and other none action parts.
