Dreamcast Dino Crisis VGA experiment FAILURE

I wanted to take a look at this game as it is one of the few games that has VGA issues (real hardware only)

The game itself works just fine but FMV (movies) in game will not play in VGA mode, so what I done was re encode the video in the hope it was just an older codec or container used

Experiment 1 was just to demux then remux the video so no resampling involved this failed
Experiment 2 I still had the original demuxed files, I re sampled the video and re-muxed it this also failed

The results do show though that the issue is in the programming rather than the actual video files (I can't see me being able to crack that :/)

What I can do though is dummy the video files so there is very little pause when they are played (the fmv can also be skipped mostly, though I wouldn't fancy trying to skip end credits) I don't like that idea though as after playing a game we do like to see endings and this game has 3 ending FMV cuts
