I have Crashbandicoot 1, Harry Potter and the chamber of secret, and digimon world iso, but it cannot be played. it stuck on the main menu. any helps..?

I have Crashbandicoot 1, Harry Potter and the chamber of secret, and digimon world iso, but it cannot be played. it stuck on the main menu. any helps..?

First, when you have downloaded the .rar for example you downloaded the digimon world iso.
Open it and inside the digimon world iso, you will notice that there are 3 different files CCD, ECM and SUB.
Now drag that ECM into the desktop.
Then download this app www.emuparadise.org/PSX/ecm%20tools.rar
After that, inside the ecmtools file that you have download, there is an app call unecm, now drag the ECM into the unecm. wait for it to finish.
Then use the finish product and play.
Alright, so which game specifically is stuck on the main menu? All of them?
Also, what region are they? I'm assuming that they are NTSC-U.
If you check the compatibility list (which you should do with all new programs, especially emulators. There is a sticky with of all of the PSX emu compatibility lists here) Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone is not compatible because it "Freezes during introduction; memcard won't work".
However, the compatibility list for ePSXe 1.7.0 says that it "works perfect". You can get it here or here.

sounds like you have a setup issue with your control pad/keyboard bindings try to rebind your buttons/keys in the emulator the try to run the games again.

ok on the controllers tab have you tried setting your control type to something else
example normal gamepad to dual analog or the other way around
some games are digital pad only and some only work in analog mode
I know harry potter supports analog mode but don't know if it is analog only.
if it is analog only and you have the control type set to normal game pad then the emulator is just detecting that you don't have a dual analog/ dual shock which the game uses and the game would be giving you the no controller message as in you don't have the right type of controller.
i've choose dualshock,.. but thanks for your advice, i'll try that..

still have a problem with harry potter and the chamber of secrets. the keep saying "controller not found, please reinsert controller"
hello guys.. Chrono Cross game that i DL cant be played... any idea how to help me on this? set up maybe? i dont really understand what to do.. i've tried all the video list that he gave.. none of this seems working.. :(

But at a guess you have an ecm file that needs to be unecm'd to be usable, see the guide for more info

P.S. Next time just create your own thread, your issue has no relation to this thread as the OP of this thread has the games atleast running but they had seemingly froze, it was just an issue with the incorrect Pad Type active
