Stubbs the Zombie Fix
Since im the first as far as I have been able to tell that's been able to fix the game without more messing than overwriting 1 dll I posted it on the stores forum but ill mirror it here on the off chance there's any EP'ers with the game and issue
Like most of you I bought Stubbs the zombie for steam (although from what i heard the CDRom one has the same issues) but alas All I got was a black screen or the "must be closed" box
So I did a little digging and looking around and come up with a fix!
The fault was the OpenGL ATi File now while I can only speak as an ATi User id imagine this will fix for Nvidia users too since we all have to use the ATi OpenGL file to run our game.
Navigate to the stubbs folder (default below)
32 Bit
C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\stubbs the zombie
64 Bit
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\stubbs the zombie
Now download this
Code:
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=AHH5QS3S
This is a rar with a fixed ATi OpenGL Driver extract and overwrite the original atioglxx.dll
Now try to run the game from steam and it should work fine!
I've noticed Steam In-Game still seems a bit messed up but the game has been working fine I Played through 3 levels without so much as a hick up, no lag or crashes
