In-game issues involving the image.

I'm using the ePSXe v.1.6.0 that comes with all the plugins and bios.

I'm currently playing Persona 2 Tsumi, and I'm at the Sky Museum, and everytime I enter a showroom or any room off the screen, the screen won't load. However, I'm still able to interact with the environment, and the rooms are on fire, so I think it has something to do with the video card or settings. When I leave a room and go back to the main building, the image comes back.

I'm not sure how to go about fixing, or addressing this and would like some pointers.

(As well, the persona themselves don't show up, just a mass of colored pixels, and I'm not sure what that's about. But it's not that important or big of a problem)
