"Oh, my god," Rowling, 42, concluded with a laugh, "the fan fiction".
Maybe it was joke.
A wizard's staff has a knob on the end.
I read about it, and it wasn't a joke. Read about the conference. I think it was unnecessary though. I hate harry potter anyway.
File this under "Who cares?"
I knew it! I FREAKING KNEW IT! I said Lance Bass was gay in 1999, I said Dumbledore was gay in '06! I tell you guys, I can smell homosexuality.
Wtf.. authors are supposed to leave stuff like this up to speculation.
She only did it to get a better response to her fan base. Half the people who read it are homo/bi. Trust me, I was forced to watch the last movie when it came out, and I SAW the audience. She didn't lose anyone because of that, all the Christians and religious people hate her anyways. She only reinforced what she had and restrengthened it.
She seems to be a real writer, and as a real writer, I would hope that she at least follows some sort of process. Any process that is any good in writing would involve some sort of back story for your characters. Dumbledore just happened to be a fanny bandit, I guess.
Please note the qualifier, seems. I don't get it at all.
She got some "vision" on a train one time and created Harry Potter.
Acid anyone?
Cheezy and mydy circlejerking over their hatred of Harry Potter is making me somewhat aroused.
