Ontario pot seller to be extradicted to the US to face American drug laws

Marc Emery, the "Prince of Pot", has never been to the US, and lives and works out of Ontario, Canada, where they have legalized pot 100%. However, the US Department of Justice is attempting to get him extradicted to the US, along with two associates, to be tried under American drug laws and can face up to 10 years to life.

This just shocks me to see. They DEA is trying to charge CANADIANS, living in a province that has LEGALIZED pot, with American drug laws and imprison them in America. They don't have any jurisdiction or right or power over these people but are trying to bully the Canadian government to hand them over anyway, as far as I can tell because they sell their marijuana seeds online and Americans can buy them.

This doesn't make one lick of sense, even for the par behavior of the current government standards. What the fuck?

It seems anytime the government or TV stations try to use the internet as a tool they fail epicly. Our foreign policies are FUBAR'd already, why not screw it up even omre :shrug: :P But seriously, WTF!? Ray_ did you do this? :harold:

I know it's the jackasses who made narcotics illeagal because of acting like dumbasses, but it sucks for the people who use it to chill and relax at home or with friends. They were going to change the driving age to 18 instead of 15 because of underage wrecks, and the drinking age of energy drinks to 18 or 21, because of the conetents are much like that of a narcotic and addicting. Soon ciggs will be higher and coffee will be illegal, god.

Where have you been for the last 120 years or so? Drug outlawing began in 1880, with opium, and marijuana has been included since 1925 (1937 was when the first actual punishment for pot sales began, with a $1 "nuisance fine" for sale).
