its a modified DSL Linux http://www.damnsmalllinux.org and this means that it is Debian. I don't know xDSL but in debian you install apps like dpkg -i "appname".deb or with synaptic http://www.nongnu.org/synaptic/ but you have to edit the /etc/sources.list first ;)
Gaining FTP access first is a must for me, since my DVD drive in teh Xbox does NOT read most DVD+R discs. So I cannot burn files to a disc and browse for them in Linux.Quote:
