Problem with Lunar: Silver Star Story (PSX)

When trying to download this from the primary servers, DAP says that the files are only about 20megs, and vary quite a bit. All other downloads seem to have constant sizes at 50megs, and sure enough, these small .rar files won't work, I assume because of the rest of the file being missing. I'm guessing this means that they either had a bad upload, or the server's messed up somehow. I don't know if the same problem is with the secondary servers, my connection times out on those, probably due to alot of traffic.

Try downloading one of those parts with just your browser.

If you continue to have problems with the direct download, why not try the torrent instead? That's what I ended up doing when I realized how long it was going to take me to download it piece by piece from the main page.

Oh, duh, the torrents! I haven't used those before, maybe I'll try those.

That's a good place to start if you're new to using Bittorrent. Right now the Lunar: SSS torrent is going pretty well, though the Lunar 2 one seems kind of dead.

Woohoo, it worked wonderfully, but now there's a problem with the rom itself! XD Trying to access the menu during the game turns everything totally black until you walk through a door to another area. This could obviously be a pretty big problem, is there any way around this?

Config > Video > Configure > check Activate Special Game Fixes

Then click small square button next to it > check Ignore Black Brightness Color > OK.

Then try the game again.
