One of the games im trying to get doesn't play sound, and a message comes up when played in VBA:
"Unsupported BIOS function 1d called from 0801fd6a. A BIOS file is needed in order to get correct behavior."
Okay..in the most simpleist terms: How do I solve this. What BIO do I need, and where can I get it??

Its weird. I wonder what the flood of psx/ps2/gba is all about.
The message doesnt come up, but, I get no sound whatsoever for the game that had the message. Any ideas on what that problem is?
Any other more specific information about the game, your machine and your VBA settings would be useful, don't you think. ;)
But, what would that really gotta do with this, seeing as I can get over 40 that I can confirm that this doesn't happen with? The game is X-Men: Reign of Apocalypse if that helps.
Some games need specific settings, and some games are not yet fully playable too. There's also known compatibility issues with certain older video cards and integrated peripherals. ;) That has to do with anyone trying to solve their GBA emulation problems, no?
Try to include the region of the game also, and if you're able more extensive information about the rom such as the website you grabbed it from or even internal rom informations. And while at it, the version of the emulator you're using. But enough complaining, on with the results.
I tried that rom, it's an old one (0125 of about 2050), with VBA 1.8.0 beta and without a bios file. I gave me an error, but after clicking ok it worked fine. With the bios the error didn't appear.

I know however it's a proper release, it has been done by Venom which is an ok group. I wonder if it's the emulator not being able to emulate it, or the rom being buggy or anything. :?
Thats the main problem I get, no sound at ALL. Donno wtf the problem is though.
I beleive it's an emulator problem, as I remember venom making a bad 32mbit dump of this game, then they came back with a 64mbit one saying they had problem and stuff. :S But the rom I linked is the good version.
I tried with no$gba, which is my 2nd favorite GBA emulaotr, and there's still no sound. I dunno what to think.
Hm..anybody else have any ideas?
