Who's looking forward to that movie? I know I am. Steven Spielberg is a great director when it comes to making blockbuster movies, like Jurassic Park, which got me into his movies. So I take it this movie is a must see for me this summer.

Ehhh. I'm leaning towards the "meh" side for this one. It's a remake, right?
Yeah. Could be the 1953 or 1988, or both.
I would definately like to see it, but I am not quite so sure how good it will be.
might be good.....
but same could be said for star wars episode 3
and I thought it was funny, I must be disturbed or something but I laughed every couple of seconds- mainly at the funny green midget....i shouldn't post this as it is off subject but, its going up
Tom is a dickhead all Aussies hate him I HOPE HE BURNS IN HELL!!!
As for the Movie no its a stupid dork movie that all the dorks will go to an watch i rest my case.
OK... soo.... I like... comics and aliens! *runs*Quote:
Will you shut up?
Dude you are full of shit. Tom Cruise is not a dickhead in the least. He's a very nice guy actually. Hell, he was on the Tonight Show and David Letterman (that was just tonight) within one week of each other, and during commercial breaks he would go out to the audience and shake people's hands and talk, how many celebrities do that? In a way the guy is like a big kid, giddy as hell. What, are all the aussies pissed cuz he got rid of Nicole Kidman? Oh well, I only like her cuz she's a redhead, but she's no great talent when it comes to movies. Tom is also a great family man who knows how to take care of his kids and how to spend time with them. Some dude squirted him in the face with water recently at the London premiere of War of the Worlds (http://www.usatoday.com/life/people/...t_x.htm?csp=34), then the guy tried to run off like a pussy, and Tom kept his cool through the whole thing, whereas some celebs would have gone off and hit the guy.Quote:

I think Spielberg based this movie more on the books, cuz the books had the huge robot walker things and so does this film, and the old flick didn't.
it DOES seem like an okay movie. im going to see it sometime
i'm willing to see it...if i'm invited to. i'd rather use my 10.75 for land of the dead.
Damn that's a lot of dinero to be paying to see a movie. Where I live it's only 8 or 9 bucks depending where I go. As for Land of the Dead, boring *snore*.Quote:

the movie looks cool, specially cause i read the book :)
The movie seems to be pretty good. However, I don't understand why everyone seems to be against Tom Cruise nowadays...
Me either. Probably jealousy or something. Things that are against celebrities. But facts though, he hasn't done anything wrong, so the reasons to hate him are just strong opinions or non-fans. I still havne't seen the movie. I'll see it over the week-end.
no reason to hate tom, i guess. i go to another forum which has of course an off topic section, and can you believe someone actually started a thread to flame cruise for being in war of the worlds? its lasted 3 pages so far O_O
