We actually have Suzy to comfort us. Suzy never liked Silver when he inititally arrived, but she was SO upset when he fell sick and she's still moping his loss. We actually got Suzy when our previous Boxer, Cindy died of tick fever in 1999. So that was what you suggested just now. We'll probably get another dog later, but it's best to wait for a month or two until all of Silver's germs are out of the house. Don't want a new puppy falling to the same sickness. Suzy ofcourse is vaccinated etc. etc. And she's tough, never falls sick, touchwood.
Nice to learn about your goldfish. That's really long for a fish to live. I've never kept fish so I don't have much knowledge on their life spans, but that is still incredibly long for such a tiny thing. Take care of him, he must be old :).
