I use IPSwin. You can get it here: http://www.emutalk.net/showthread.php?threadid=12077 ;)
Splendid, thank you very much for the pointer, I resolved the issue and can now happily enjoy some retro rpg action. Thanks again :)
hmm wasn't there a way to softpatch games? I can't find it in snes9x tho.. or was it just like making the filenames the same or sometihng like that?
May i ask were you got the pach?
http://www.dejap.com/ - They've got the final release of the patch there, along with some other projects that theyre working on.

The GBA (VBA) can, PSX (ePSXe) can and Megadrive/Genesis (Gens) can do that, I will look into Snes9x and others sometime aswell though.
VBA = The ROM folder named the same as the rom
ePSXe = The patches folder named with the Games code name (SLES_????? or SLUS_????? and others)
Gens = The IPS folder (Not sure on naming methods I have never tried it myself just yet)
Yeah, that's how ZSNES did it. Just have your rom and ips with identical names in the same folder and it'd soft patch for you whenever you load it up.Quote:
