This is where you let people know you have Gmail invitations that you're willing to give out for free. To keep it to a single thread and such.
I just got one, and no one I've asked personally has accepted the offer yet, so the first person to send me a PM with their e-mail will get it. When the invitation is sent, I'll say so here.
Without meaning to sound incredibly ignorant, whats a Gmail invitation?

how come some people get to invite others from their gmail account, while others dont? is there any requirements you hafta meet?

I got my first invite to give out about 5 days after geting the account. (that was yesterday). I didnt get a new one today. I think google just give out more invites when they are ready to take more people on.
