Besides that way, is there any other way to load GameCube ISO's?
2.) Does anyone know what the MTX goodset is? I couldn't find any information on it.

From the research I've done I think a way to burn Gamecube games cold be developped.
What I Know:
1. Gamecube games are on 1.5gb mini dvd discs.
2. Gamecube modchips are available.
3. Gamecube discs have a form of copy protection on them.
I think I know how the copy protection is applied. A while ago record companies for a short amount of time put physical errors on their Music Cds. This rendered them unreadable by a computer. It was then discovered that by writing over the outer ring of the disc with a permanent marker you could cover the code and the disc could then to be read on the computer. Nintendo may have resurected that method, which is a smart idea because no one would be daring enough to attempt to draw on a US$50 gamecube disc.
I have also heard that drwing around the edge with a blck marker allows you to add files onto a burnt CD-R disk like youwould a CD-RW.
First Gamecube Games are not on 1.5gb mini dvd discs....Quote:

The games are on special discs that nintendo only produces and sells to developers, and if im not mistaken they hold about of 4.5gb.
Second if no one can Load the "Burnt game disk" how would they know if this GCN modchip works or not?
3. They might have a form of copy protection or they might be a diffrent type of media like say the Dream Cast which cant be read in a DvD or CD drive.
The Gamecube modchips allow a gamecube to play all regions and one would assume backups if they ever came to exist.
I would not assume that... the region protection and backup protection might be seprate. However they could grouped together...Quote:

How do people make the ISOs that are on the internet?
Yea i heard theres GameCube ISOs out and i read somewhere that Nintendo GameCube games are 1.5gb not 4.5gb. Just what i heard :)
Yes there are GameCube ISOs out there.. and i dont know the size.. because they vary from game to game.. however they were ripped using the GameCube its self.Quote:

Ripping a GCN iso involves connecting a GCN to a computer (not sure how) and then having the Gamecube its self read the disk in to data.. much like how Dreamcast iso's are made..
Gamecube games range in all different sizes.... 1.5 - 4.5 gigs none are lower than 1.5 I believe unless ripped and available on the net. :pirate:
EDIT: You have to have a Lan cable and Phantasy Star online to play Gamecube ISO's downloaded from the net.
I believe its only 1.5gb. My reason for that is the physical restriction. The idea of a Mini DVD is that it is a smaller DVD. Meaning that it cannot have the capacity of a regular DVD. Now having said that maybe the Gamecube games are dual layer?
