im new to all this emulator stuff and just wanted to know why some of the games im downloading arent working 100% like sticky screens, jittery audio, crashes and text so squished together its unreadable, sometimes i just get big red lines through the screen. just wanted to know if ive either done something wrong if there is a fix or if its something wrong with my pc, thanks.
The simplest answer: the PS2 emulator isn't perfect (yet) and not all games work perfectly. However, there is also a possibility that the certain game is playable, but you need to re-set something in your settings. To check if a particular game should be working fine or not, consult the compatibility list or go to PSX Datacenter.

Depends on the game , also a big thing are your pc specs. If you're running an older laptop for example then don't expect much.

Its also possible that he's just using a really out of date version of the emulator.
