i found a program (and i'm sure a lot of people too :biggrin: ) which closes all IE windows' except the one you're currently surfing with. in other words, click on a button, and all other IE windows will be closed!!!! very comfortable....

What about when you have several other sites loaded on other IE-sessions? I know that when I surf I usually have 2+ windows open.
My site uses java pop-ups for u to surf in.
It ain`t hard to find a pop-up stopper..
But they normally won`t let any new incoming windows open, so you have to turn it off when you open a new IE window..
Try popup killer it works pretty well if i remember correctly :)
I dont use pop-up blockers,they;re too annoying,i hated having to disable one everytime ni wanted too lookn at one of my folders,say if i clicked my computer on the desktop,it wud stop it 4n poppuping up!:P:P:P

Yeah, Popup killer is kinda good. But I don't like it that much. It won't let ANY IE windows open, and that's irritating. I used to use it, but not anymore.Quote:

It lets you decide what windows get closed, and it stores that info. So only pop-ups u deicde to have close get closed :)
nah, it's not a BLOCKER....
aaah lets describe... if, for example, a javascript opens a window, nothing happens to it. But if you don't want to have that window, just click on the button and everthing will be closed.
So you don't have to click on every [X] of the IE.
The only problem: If you surf with serveral IEs simutaneously.
popups don't bother me.
yea me either. But i hated it when i was browsing for iso sites one site had like 30 million pop-ups that came and like ate my PC it just froze it.
i agree with fire. POW! is a great popup killer. if a popup comes up you tell POW! it's a popup and that one popup will never come up again. after a month or so of using it you won't see many popups at all. it never blocks a site unless you say so so it will never block new windows that you open yourself.
Oh what the hell. If you're too lazy to cliack the damn x on the IE window then do the good old ALT+F4 Works everytime.
I'd rather that people don't close popups on sites. Atleast decent sites because generally it's their basic source of income and if they don't get that, the site has to shut down.
For example, the content on emuparadise, we dont charge anything for it but we have server costs and stuff too, and we can't always pay it off on our own (cauz they're rather high) thats why we need ads on the site to pay for that, most sites do the same thing, so if you really support that site, and do use it for something or the other let the popup load!
