Just like the title says i need more info on it i've only played ds games through emulation.So i'm wondering what kinda things can i expect outta playing an actual DS that you don't get when emulating it.

For one, you will be holding in your hands a physical object that plays the games instead of a digital program on your computer.

Multi-player via local wireless connection can be fun, and doesn't always require that both players have a copy of the same cartridge, but I've never attempted any multi-player functions on the web outside of a quick Pokemon trade with another EP member.
I'm also someone who started out with DS emulation, then bought the actual console after a few months. I don't regret it at all. It's a portable console, so you can pretty much play it wherever you want. Even if you're uncomfortable with playing it in public/on the streets, it's still really cool to hop into a comfy chair or bed and play a game. Maybe that's just me. Also, even if there's a blackout and your PC doesn't work, you can still turn your DS on and play. :wacko:
Obviously, games won't have the same problems they might have with emulation - glitchy sound, graphics and stuff like that. And I personally found the stylus much more comfortable to use compared to a mouse, especially with games like TWEWY and Ninja Gaiden DS.
I also experimented a bit with DSReader. It supports txt files, so you can actually read e-books on it if you want. I found that it's a lot less tiring on the eyes compared to reading on my monitor, so it's actually pretty neat.
ive used emulators before and its not as fun as playing the actual thing. the wifi pretty much sucks if your going to use the internet browser but for some games it works somewhat well. to name a few games like call of duty, pokemon, and the tony hawk games before ea shut the servers down for them. its nice to lay down in bed at night and play my ds but besides that ive never played it anywhere else.
