It would probably be way too cheesy if it were live action, though animation would work just fine. <IMG SRC="smilies/yelsmile.gif" border="0"> I'd like to see a Metal Gear Solid movie personally.
This is gonna sound pretty sad, but I reckon Monkey Island would make a good movie. It should be a rendered film (like Final Fantasy), I don't think a live action version would capture the charm of the games.
You're not sad Cosmic! I was just thinking of the same when I saw the topic title. Monkey Island would be a great movie if it's a computer animation, but I wonder if they could also do it with real actors, that could be nice.Quote:

There is no fucking way. Square lost millions of dollars with The Spirits Within so don't expect another FF movie.
I can't think of anything. Personally, I can't wait for all of the movies already in production. Like Max Payne, Duke Nukem, and Spiderman. All being released this year. Not to mention Resident Evil which will be out March 15. Its directed by the guy who did the Mortal Kombat movies. <IMG SRC="smilies/yelbaby.gif" border="0">
The Best Movie from a game would have to be Chrono Tirgger\Chrono Cross or Parasite Eve.
That doesnt mean i cant still want it to happen, i think ff tsw didnt do well do to bad advertising and just because it was animated, usually animated are kiddy, adults arent as interested in it, except, of course, ff fans.Quote:

I would have to agree with cyberxion101 and Cosmic. I want to see MGS and Monkey Island made into movies. I even remember last year we had to write two original scenes from a movie so I just copied Metal Gear Solid. I reckon Silent Hill would be a hell wicked horror movie though.
Actually , A nice movie can be made on almost every game, because every game have a story right?? (..ok almost).
