If you’ve ever tamed a dog in Minecraft before, you know how troublesome they can be. While they are helpful for going after hostile mobs and protecting you in a bind, the AI for dogs is cripplingly bad, often leading dogs to kill themselves by jumping off cliffs or leaping into water and drowning, or lava and burning to death. The Doggy Talents mod corrects these and other issues with the dog AI, improving them significantly while making other small changes to the game. In addition to improved movement and detection of hazards, Doggy Talents also gives dogs a whole list of commands to perform.
