For years, the bottom of the ocean was a place best left avoided in Minecraft. Sure, it might make a nice spot to build a tidy little base on a Factions server or something, but for everyone else there just wasn’t any reason to explore the depths of the ocean. The addition of ocean monuments in Minecraft 1.8 finally gave everyone a good reason to try and venture to the bottom of the world. The Deep Sea Diving Mod has the potential to make visiting those monuments much easier for the player because it adds items that will give the player special buffs and traits when worn.
