    Parodius (MSX) Review - Heavy Metal Gamer Show:


    There are a ton of shoot em ups out there, ranging from classic ones, to bullet hell shooters and so on. Well there was a game called Parodius that was on a variety of consoles, but originated on the the MSX computer and released in Japan. The actual title of the game is Parodius: The Octopus Saves the Earth. I hope you enjoy this review, thanks for watching!

    Heavy Metal Gamer Plays: The Night Christmas Ended

    To start out this final week of content for 2016 I have decided to do a full let's play of the game "The Night Christmas Ended". I did review this game a while back under the name "A Goblin's Xmas Tale" but the game was finally released via Steam by Giant Goblin Studios and had a name change as well.     To end out the week I decided to review Fantasy Zone, not just the arcade version but the NES port of the side scrolling shoot em up. If you remember a long time ago I did a Pete's Game Room Forum (owned by Pete Dorr) challenge that was setup by the forum members, and Fantasy Zone on the NES was one of the games I did a video on.
