Good evening everyone, I just thought I would pop back in for a minute.
My grammar and spelling may be adversely affected by the fact that I have just consumed a heroic amount of caffeine, so I wish to apologise for that in advance.
Now, before we can decide which is our favorite we must examine the poll and analyse each choice individually. I intend to spend the duration of this post doing just that, so please be so kind as to bear with me. Let us begin!
Fav Superhero and comic movie francises
Usually a surefire winner. Everyone loves superheroes. However, for my tastes, this poll lacks imagination. I don't see a happy ending for this particular option.
Fav food
Again, a depressingly vanilla thread. If this option was a color, it would be gray, or possibly a lighter shade of black. Something along the lines of dirty white, perhaps. Regardless of this, I honestly cannot say I am a fan. The topic is trite, unoriginal and just lacking a certain
je ne sais quoi. Simpy put, whilst you are free to vote as you choose, it is my belief that this one does not deserve to win.
Fav movie/game scores
I must say I am rather partial to this option. As far as Emuparadise is concerned it's a topic that does not make an appearance often enough. I give it an A-.
Top popculture villians!!!
Another interesting idea. However, the answers that people give have proven to be a tad underwhelming. Sadly this is a case of a well-executed idea being let down by factors beyond its control. Better luck next time.
Fav Final Fantasy
If ever there was a topic that has been done to death on gaming forums, "what is your preferred genre" is it, followed closely of course by "choose your favorite installment of Final Fantasy". Despite being a fan of the series, I must say that I find it somewhat over-rated on the whole, particularly when compared to other games in the genre. Call it bias if you must, but this thread is simply not a favorite of mine.

This thread had potential but the accompanying poll omitted far too many beautifully-crafted games in favor of shoe-horning in a myriad of substandard, hentai-addled filth. A missed opportunity.

This thread is alarmingly redundant, if only because you should all know by now that The Wire is the greatest TV show of all time. No further discussion is required because we took the liberty of settling this argument for everyone quite some time ago. If you missed it, that is your problem.

A clear shoe-in for second place, although I do find it rather disconcerting that no-one appears to have voted for this option. Do you people not recognise quality when you see it? Perhaps I am out of my depth on this forum.

It smacks of ignorance and contempt and is exactly the sort of thinking that has set the alphabet rights movement back hundreds of years. Shameful and deplorable at the same time.
