Is an undubbed game good ?? What does it mean ??

What's the difference from the original one ??

Please need help..!! I'm downloading a game and it has an "UNDUB" written next to its title..

My guess is that the voices are left in the original language and only the
text is translated in undubbed version. (same as in normal movies with subs)

There shouldn't be any difference in gameplay unless
something was cut off from the original scenario or the scenario was
americanized. (same like in manga when they change parts of the storyline
to apply more for the local audience).

Sometimes original voices are way better than the dubbed ones.

So you mean that if the original one is USA Version.. Voices will still be english ?? Cuz I'm downloading a torrent named..

"Legaia 2 Duel Saga USA UNDUB PS2DVD"..

UNDUB = Text: English, Voices: Japanese

I read about it on the net now and it seems undubs are made from
repalcing English audio from US games with the original Japanese
audio from Japanese version of the game.

That means, that if in American or European version of a Japanese game, voices were done by idiots (Read: very bad voice over), then Undubbed version, is an hacked and reprogrammed US or EURO version WITH original Japanese version voice over putted in!

The very best example is Star Ocean: Till the End of Time on PS 2 - there is very stupid voice over in original American and European version, but some good, nice people did undubbing and seeded it....now we can rest peacefully : 3
