Yeah, that sounds a bit extreme. Can't say I blame you for being hesitant. I know a lot of people duct-tape little strips of metal to their strap in order to correct unbalanced guitars, maybe give that a try?
Rectoverb came today, woo!

Umm...I play piano. Kind of badly. And clairsach. Also kind of badly. At the moment I'm not really playing very much on either besides random self compositions and silly videogame and anime songs. I did begin learning this Chopin nocturne a while back, though. Except for a few little bits here and there, it's not so tricky, but I thought it was pretty anyway:

Doesn't sound like a bad idea. I'll try it.
Do you have any idea what super glue might do to the guitar's finish? I'm thinking that's also a solution, but too much chemicals in the thing I'm assuming..

Can't say for sure but personally I wouldn't risk it. Even the rubber on a guitar stand can eat into certain finishes so I dread to think what superglue could do.
I used to play guitar as a little kid. I was just getting a hang of "Smoke over water" when my guitar's life was tragically cut short. Do I count as a musician?

Also, general question to guitarists:
How many of you know theory? I know some pretty basic stuff (pre-basic actually), and I'd like to learn, but I need to know which way to go (internet, or tutor) and how beneficial it is.

Ditto with this. I've been too lazy to learn theory, so any basics would be nice

It's funny, I got a change in my voice very late, but when I was with my band I remember being able to sing Placebo songs and I think I was alright. After a while my voice started to change (a late bloomer >_>) and I stopped singing until I played Rock Band.
I wouldn't mind working on my vocals again, I don't think I'm THAT terrible.
