Don't bother, it's pretty much garbage. Stick to the single player, even if you've beaten it.

I actually made a concerted effort with a friend to get into the game, and it literally just sucks. The lag was atrocious, most of the missions are just lame as hell, and the worst part is almost everyone else is an asshole that plays..... it wasn't uncommon for me to log in and be dead within a few minutes because other players would track me and kill me, and either steal or destroy my car. I got sick of that shit real fast.

Oh, and let's not forget how terrible the TDM modes are - it's fucking GTA - yes, the aiming and shooting mechanics have been greatly improved, but do you really think they work for an online multi-player shooter?

I didn't get killed and tea bagged by randomers, but the whole premise of GTA Online never really appealed to me. I tried it, and it wasn't fantastic.

Just emptied out half of my savings to pay off my credit cards. I really need to redo my budget. I've moved so many different accounts around that I can't keep track of where the money is coming out of anymore.
