good config for FFVII?

I'm currently playing FFVII on ePSXe and I'm messing around with the config to get it to look nice. I'm using petes OpenGL 2.8 and although it makes the 3D polygon stuff look nice it makes the pre rendered backgrounds look blurry and ugly. Is there way of getting both the pre rendereds and 3D looking nice with this plugin or is there no way around it? I'm basically looking for a really good config using this plugin for this game if anyone has it.
My gfx card is 128MB by the way (ATI).

if you want a quick & nearly flawless config for FFVII try Kane's Domain. I remember using it years ago & it worked like a trooper on an ATI-based card.
