    Default problem with .CUE

ok.. i d/l Xenogears cd 1... and when I extracted with winrar.. i got ****.cue (name of file). So how can I use it? just open it with emulator (run ISO)?
fyi...Im using ePSXe. when I tried to open the file.. all i got was dark screen...

oh I only need to d/l xenogears CD1 because I have original xenogears but my cd1 is error. but cd2 is ok..
the problem.. i cannot open xenogears cd1 ...(d/l from emuparadise).
but I can open xenogears cd 2 (i made .ISO from my original xenogears cd2)

how can I open .CUE...is it same with .ISO? do I have to set up my emulator setting again?

    thnk you

Yes load up the CUE with your emulator

You can rename the .BIN to .ISO if you're having problems with the cue.

or you could open the cue with notepad and paste the contents of the cue here, although I doubt there are errors with it.

EDIT: by rename I meant rename the file extension from .bin to .iso, then load up the .iso with ePSXe.

Is the cue the only file you got when you extracted the compressed files? There should be a bin too, that's the image file you have to run (in epsxe, file/run iso).

    lol
is the file split in multiple files?
    like r00, r01, r02, etc
    or .001, .002, etc
    and the like?

if it is click on the first and extract.

You should have a bin. If you double click on the rar you downloaded, you'll see the contents. If you only see a cue, then the bin must be missing.

You need to download all 8 parts for CD1, put all 8 parts in the same folder, then right-click on any part and choose Extract.

You'll then be asked for a password, which is:
    File by emuparadise.org

Put in that password, and the bin/cue will automatically extract from the split rar files.

Then, start ePSXe, go to File > Run ISO > choose the bin file, and your game should start.

The file in the cue file is pointing to a specific location so it needs to be changed for one.
Change "C:\Admin\FTP\xenogears cd1.ISO" to "xenogears cd1.ISO" and that should work if the ISO file is in the same directory as the cue file.

ePSXe is showing enhanced graphics, it's one of it's features.
