meh ps2 dosesnt work

alrite let see, i bought a ps2 for 30 dollars with American Chopper, and Tekken 4, for somereason the ps2 doesnt read the discs, i also tried Call of Duty 2 which was new, and it says Disc Error, does any know a soluation to this??

This happens when the magnets that the cd tray uses loses its magnet properties ,this can be fixed by taking a fridge magnet one of those calendars that has a thin sheet of magnet in the back of it.I htink that i have a tut about it ill search and if you want i can post it...its not 100% sure about that the problem is the magnet but its worth a try. btw it happened to me once and it worked after i did this

These people know NOTHING! i tore apart my ps2 and fixed it.. i know it in and out. so like lets get started... so you have yahoo instant messenger?
