Default Shadow of Colossus not booting...

I'm using the swap trick that was mentioned in a previous thread, and I can boot plenty of my PS1 imports and backups, but I can't seem to get Shadow of Colossus to work I burned it using Alchohol 120%, is there a patch I need or should I burn with another program? (I.e. dvd decrypter)

I haven't tested this game myself yet, but if you burned it at a low speed and it's a good image file it should work.. what original game are you using to boot it? remember you have to use an original game with a bigger TOC than the backup you want to run, so no PS1 original game will boot it.

I've tried Mortal Kombat Deception, Midway Arcade Collection 2, and Max Payne, none work. I think I burned at 8x last time, I'll try again with 4 (Although I'm on a low supply of DVD-Rs )

Im assuming that you are playing it on a PS2. How are you trying to play the game? Chip, swap trick, or what?

Swap trick (craig's swap trick, check for the topic "Backups on Opened PS2" in this forum)

ARghh..I burned the ISO again with DVD Decryptor at 4x, and it still will not boot. I'm going to try every PS2 game i own to boot it.

You'd better switch to Modchip. This works much better then the Swap method. All the PS2 games I downloaded work with it.

I'm not much of a soldering type either, the chip was already built in at the store. But yeah is was kinda pricey
