    Default Sonic/Games

    Hi,

I have Sonic 3D blast for the gbc and for some odd reason it is not working for my emulator. I have tried it on both rew and visualboy. For VisualBoy it's saying "Unsupported Ram 20". I really want to try the game out. Also if you know anymore games that are like Sonic for the gbc can you please upload them? I have a VERY OLD computer (IBM Thinkpad 365XD to be exact) and I can't play Genesis games on my computer.

    Thanks

Well that's easy to say but I don't have the money to just go and buy a computer. Do you know anymore games like Sonic that are on the gbc/gb level?

I've only heard the game you speak of for the PC. If you can emulate GBA go for the sonic advance series.

while i would of course suggest getting a better computer, or at least upgrading your computer, i guess that isn't an option for you.

I agree that the Sonic Advance series are great. You also might want to try some of the old Sega Game Gear or Master System games as well.

i dont think you have a hope in hell of emulating gba games so i recommened taking that game over to a friends house with a bag of chips and playing it there.

OR what about emulating it on a system do you have a dreamcast? i believe playstation works too but im not sure on that.

It does that for me too, and it always did. Don't get a new computer.

Try Genecyst for playing genesis games, it's old, but it's really fast on old pc's. got it to run fast on a pc with a pentium 1 in it. http://www.zophar.net/Files/gcystxxx.zip btw it only runs in dos.

um...I didn't want to find the Sonic series for the GBA I already knew that was out of my league. How good is BiGB? I'm going to get Genecyst but will the sonic games run on it?

AFAIK they all do. The emulator was never perfected but I do remember playing a few Sonic games on it and they worked very well. Unless you get a better pc that's the best genesis emu you can run on it. BGB I hear is really good, a friend of mine once recommended it but I opted for Visual Boy Advance since I have a pc that can handle it.

Alright thanks...That's all I needed to know. I found it weird that all of the Sonic games worked for the gbc except for that one. Do you know of any games that are kinda like Sonic but you can play on the GBC?

What about 'em? They're just watered down versions of the Genesis games.
