Just spend $30 on a mod chip. You get the extra BIOS (in case you dick up a flash) and the installation is rediculously easy; I spent about 30 to 45 minutes total for mine.
Get one that you solder in if you move your XBox a lot so that you don't have to worry about it unsettling during movement.

Guys there is a lot of arguements like this on xbox-scene, read them and know what it is all about, exploits are easy and cost effective. SC being a favourite way for me to do it. Where as a chip is also good and if your like me, you can make your own xbox chip to use.

Well, you can, I installed on a customers box 7 switches for all different bioses on his tsop and depending on what was down etc it would boot a different bios! lol

How the hell can you do that. A bios for the xbox is 256kb at its smallest, 1mb at its biggest. Only v 1.0s i believe have a 1mb TSOP, hense why you can have a switch, while the others have 256, only allowing one flash. And BFM bios dont flash anything.
